Assalamuailakum and hi everyone!
Since that we have chosen the children in our project categories , so we wanted to write a little about the introduction of children games.
There are so many traditional indoor and outdoor games in our country. For example, “Dam Haji”, “Galah Panjang”, “Teng Teng” and many others. The advantages is different type of games help children in different way. For example outdoor games help in their physical to strengthen their body and health. Indoor games help most in their creative and critical thinking such as puzzle and Lego. This shows that children have high creativity to develop something based on their interest.
Changes in technology have greatly influenced the history of children’s games. Since children have more interest in television and computers, the developers create a games that can help children in both physical and brains development. For example “Blues clues” and “ Dora the explorer” they introduce an animated cartoon series that have a game in it. In this shows children have to follow all the character of the games in the TV. So they will eventually move, sings and exercise like the cartoon character which attractive to them.
Computer have many ways to attract children attention. Previously, Ministry of education have produce a student learning CD tools to attract children to study in front of computers. This method was not successful because children will not open the CD to study. Besides, the learning tool have to many speech which is boring and annoyed. Instead, they will search online games to play. So, a new approaching method is used. They develop a games with numbers, puzzles, words and many others. They make a song of the learning object. Colorful objects and cute animated cartoon character and objects.
In addition, children like their favorite cartoon character very much. Spontaneously they will follow and do everything they see about their cartoon idol. They event can mimic the cartoon and remember every sentences or move that the cartoon does.
The children should be guided how to develop their creative thinking by letting them to draw, colour, shape and build something based on they view. Their brain cells will develop fast if they used them.
In short, the children demand or interest should be filled in their perspective so that they will not loose the interest in their learning process. Their wished and ideas should be cared, so that they will create and innovative environment in their life.
